Welcome to Cancer Center DNA Microarray Core Facility website!

The use of DNA microarrays has been growing rapidly in recent years because of its power in studying gene expression changes in multiple basic and clinical research situations. Tremendous efforts have been made to improve microarray manufacturing technology and methods for data analysis. Our facility now uses long-oligomer (60-mer) arrays produced by Agilent® Technologies which have been shown to have many advantages over short-oligomer (25-mer) or cDNA arrays and has emerged as a leading technology in the field. The Core has also established Agilent® oligo technology for performing high density comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) studies to assess abnormal chromosomal changes.
